First Motocross Athlete on Wheaties Box

This year Wheaties, one of the most iconic cereal boxes, announced that they will be featuring their first ever Motocross athlete on the front of the box. This special athlete is Ryan Dungey who is currently coming of a spectacular 2015 season, winning both the Supercross and Motocross title. This local athlete was born and raised in Minnesota and surrounded by racing his entire life. Dungey first turned pro in 2006 and shortly after at the young age of 21 had achieved every title this sport had to offer. Still young with much room to grow he would prove again this past year that he is one of the top athletes in the sport. Wheaties decided that Dungey would be the perfect athlete to feature on this box that will be distributed nationwide. Dungey was quoted saying, “It’s definitely a very exciting moment, getting to be on the Wheaties box. I can’t tell you how many times my brother and I sat there joking about, you know, one day that’s going to be me on the box,” says Dungey. “To be the first Motocross racer on the box is definitely an amazing moment. I think it’s huge for all of us, so I’m very, very thankful.” Dungey gives many young athletes the ambition they need to chase their dreams as even professional athletes such as Ryan never imagined they could achieve the things he has. The hard work and determination has paid off, Congratulations Ryan Dungey! Keep a look out for the limited addition Wheaties box.
